90% of start-ups fail

20 reasons start-ups fail
CB Insights
Lack of market analysis (42%), insufficient funding or financial resources (37%), and the absence of a viable business model (17%) rank among the most frequently cited causes of start-up failures.
Skully, Utrip, Zirtual, LayerVault, Frankly, and RoomsTonite are prime examples of start-ups that initially showed promise but ultimately faltered due to a combination of critical financing issues, flawed business models, and misaligned market strategies. Their experiences highlight the complex interplay between securing adequate investment, developing a sustainable and scalable business model, and accurately assessing and responding to market demands.

The outcome of the company presentation is our decision to further look at your documents and business. If we are convinced of your idea, we will directly start the engagement process.
-
Does the 15 min intro call cost anything? No. The 15 min company presentation is free of charge. We need to understand your case and you need to feel confidence with us and our approach.

Do I need to pay for pitch / model or can I start fundraising directly? We have had customers with on-point pitches and models. In these cases we can directly start the fundraising process. However, if we feel that the model and / or pitch is not there yet, we will not expose our network to lower quality. If in this case the start-up is not willing to invest into its documents, we will not start an engagement.
